Quick FAQ
- How do I generate a plan? Complete the initial setup (vitals and goals) — HitMacros automatically calculates your calorie and macro targets. Then go to the Plans tab, tap Generate, and pin any result to Today to track your meals.
- No plan found? This usually means your pantry foods don't fit your current targets. Common causes: not enough variety in your pantry, foods that don't match your diet style (e.g. a high protein goal with mostly low-protein foods), or portion sizes that are too large for the solver to hit your targets precisely. Try adding more foods or adjusting portion sizes.
- Sync across devices? Enable iCloud on your device. HitMacros uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync foods and plans with your Apple ID.
- Import/Export CSV? Use the Import/Export screen to back up or batch edit your pantry in a spreadsheet.

We don’t collect personal data, run ads, or use third-party analytics.
All data you create (foods, plans, settings) is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled, the app uses Apple CloudKit to sync that data privately with your Apple ID. We (the developer) do not have access to your iCloud content.
Diagnostics. If you opt in to Apple’s system analytics or share crash reports, Apple may provide anonymized diagnostics. We don’t add our own trackers.
Data control. You can delete your data at any time by removing items in the app, deleting the app, or managing iCloud storage in Settings. For CloudKit data, removal is tied to your Apple ID and device settings.
Children. The app is intended for general use and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes. We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll update the date above when we do.
